Assessment of Impacts from Foundation Construction on MWA’s Water Transmission Tunnel
Client: Italian-Thai Development PCL.
Services: Study and impact assessment
For the construction of the Red Line (Bang Sue-Rangsit) Railway Project, many long barrette piles and bored piles are needed, and they may deform or damage the water tunnels in the area. After operation commences, the piles may subside under the load they bear and may impact tunnel condition in the long run.
GFE was involved in the study and assessment of impacts from pile construction in order to propose impact or damage prevention measures to ensure minimal effects on communities and the environment.
